- 1 Scuba diving in the Andamans does not require you to be an expert or a swimmer. Beginners and non-swimmers dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional at all times.
- 2 All divers should complete a diver medical questionnaire. Individuals with certain health conditions may need physician clearance before diving. Instructors, dive masters and dive-shop staff are not physicians and cannot give medical advice — only medical professionals can clear you to dive.
- 3 PADI courses have minimum-age and prerequisite requirements (for example, Open Water Diver from age 10, Advanced Open Water from age 12). Please check the requirements for your chosen course, or ask our team.
- 4 Scuba diving in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands is governed by the applicable local regulations, including the 2026 diving guidelines. See our Diving Rules 2026 page for details.
